EDUCATION AND RECREATION IN THE COMOX VALLEY
Comox Valley Public Schools
Our local public education schools are part of School District 71. On the district’s website, you will find information on busing, cross border enrollment, registration, and contact information. There you will also find links to individual school websites, and both elementary and secondary catchment areas.
School District 71 also has a variety of specialized programs like Montessori, French Immersion, Aboriginal Education, the Fine Arts eCademy, Distance Education, and more.
Comox Valley Private Schools
Within our region, there are also a number of private school options. These include: Saltwater Waldorf School, Beachcombers Academy, Comox Valley Christian School, and L’ecole Au-coeur-de-l’ile.

If you have children at the preschool age, valleychild.ca is an excellent resource that covers events and services for children aged six years and under. Covering things like health and development, childcare, and activities, this site has your young family covered.
